Mammography Services

Lackawanna Mobile X-Ray, Inc.'s Mammographic Imaging Services are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the (FDA).

We offer four-view screening mammography exams, that usually take 15 minutes. This low patient dosage mammography unit is a LO-RAD D-550. Such equipment is state-of-the-art, which allows sophisticated diagnosis with minimal patient discomfort.

These services are provided in a 26 foot state-of-the-art van that is fully equipped and self contained. This van has been especially designed for the utmost in patient comfort, convenience, and privacy.

Examinations are conducted by experienced, licensed radiologic technologists. The technicians will take the time to fully explain the procedure, prevention, and answer any questions. The results are mailed within a day of the examination and records are kept for annual comparisons.

We provide this service at your facility for the convenience of your patients and staff. This service helps your facility in early detection measures. It is reported that the use of mammography may reduce breast cancer deaths by 30%. Complete brochures that detail such information, as well as self evaluation, will be distributed during our visit to your facility.
